GSSM's Art in the Interim Program 2019 Exhibit

The Governor’s School for Science and Math’s Art in the Interim Program will feature works from students as they explored traditional and contemporary art techniques and processes using a variety of materials while creating meaningful 2D and 3D works of art. This dynamic visual arts course was led by Visual Arts Coordinator, Patz Fowle and Artist in Residence, Mike Fowle. All art products created during this program involved the students using some type of heat. The exhibit will feature hand built glazed ceramics, watercolor batik, and biomorphic sculptures utilizing upcycled, post-consumer plastics. This exhibit will be at the Hartsville Museum from March 1st-April 15th.
