Would you dare to visit the Dark Side?

We will have our spooky tours rain or shine,
so make sure to bring an umbrella if things look gloomy!

The Hartsville Museum presents the Darkside Tour of Hartsville. Join one of the historians from the museum for a spooky walking tour of Downtown Hartsville!

Come along on these fun and interesting tours to learn about some of Hartsville’s “lost” locations and history. Each tour will last approximately 90 minutes and is suitable for ages 12 and older.

Parking will be available at First Baptist Church and Hartsville Museum. The cost is $20 per person and each tour can accommodate a maximum of 16 guests.

Please note that, while most of the tour will be on our accessible Downtown sidewalks, guests will need to use several flights of steps to experience some parts.

There will be two tours, one starting at 7:00 p.m. and one at 8:00 p.m., on each of the following evenings:

  • Friday, October 25, 2019

  • Saturday, October 26, 2019

  • Tuesday, October 29, 2019

  • Wednesday, October 30, 2018

  • Thursday, October 31, 2018

Each tour will begin at the John L. Hart house at 108 East Home Ave. Each 90 minute tour will loop around the spookiest places in Downtown Hartsville.
